Little tip for people that use Nmap,Some may be aware of these trick,Remember to Spoof your Ip address while scanning a host or network. First start with opening nmap and typing nmap -iflist This will give you a list of available interfaces,The most commonly used one is eth0 but remember to put -e before it and secondly while spoofing your own address include -s The eventual string looks like nmap -e eth0 -S 192.168.1.100 192.168.1.109 Green being your fake address and red being the target address.
