How to setup Android v1.6-x86 on VMware 6.5.1 by zer0day What do you need? 1. Android v1.6 ISO --->>> http://www.android-x86.org/download Choose the stable release "Android-x86 1.6 live & installation iso image" 2. VMware v6.5.1 + Serials ---V V V Code: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZILMAFQOOk, lets get started! 1. Install VMware 2. By now you should have already downloaded the Android v1.6 ISO 3. Open up VMware, Your Home page should be displayed Spoiler (Click to View) 4. Select Typical (Recommended) Spoiler (Click to View) 5. Select Installer disc image file (iso) Browse to Android v1.6 ISO Click Next Spoiler (Click to View) 6. Select Linux Version to select is "Other Linux 2.6.x Kernel Click Next Spoiler (Click to View) 7. Name your Virtual Machine whatever you want Spoiler (Click to View) 8. Set how many gigs you would like your virtual machine to be Click Next Spoiler (Click to View) 9. Now you should be on this, click Customize Hardware Spoiler (Click to View) 10. Highlight Devices on the left, customize each device on the left Spoiler (Click to View) Memory: not sure what the minimum requirement is, but 1 gig should be sufficient New CD/DVD (IDE): leave as is Floppy: you can remove this if not needed (highlight Floppy and click remove) Network Adapter: leave as is USB Controller: leave as is Sound Card: leave as is Display: leave as is Processors: 1 is fine, select two if you want a little performance boost Click OK 11. Click Finish 12. Now you should have returned to your Home page after you finished setting up your virtual machine 13. Click on the tab at the top of the page which has the name of your virtual machine you named from STEP 7, then click the Greenplay arrow on the tool bar or click Power on this virtual machine Spoiler (Click to View) 14. Choose run as Live CD Spoiler (Click to View) 15. Give it a minute or so to boot up, if you get a pop-up from VMware just click I FINISHED INSTALLING There you go you have just setup Android v1.6 ISO in Vmware ENJOY!
