hi guys in this tut i will explain you how to crypt things in visual basic 2008 aka visual basic .net. premise: this is my way to crypt i don't know if there are others, if you find others way please let us know ^^. i saw a lot of ppl that doesn't have the minimal idea on what encryption is so a bit of explanation before we starting might take the deal. what the encryption is? In cryptography, encryption is the process of transforming information (referred to as plaintext) using an algorithm (called cipher) to make it unreadable to anyone except those possessing special knowledge, usually referred to as a key. The result of the process is encrypted information (in cryptography, referred to as ciphertext). In many contexts, the word encryption also implicitly refers to the reverse process, decryption (e.g. “software for encryption” can typically also perform decryption), to make the encrypted information readable again (i.e. to make it unencrypted). basically is to call something into something else mixing something else again with something else blablabla well lezz see it directly: we have a password as example "795325645698" we might call 1 as A, 2 as B, 3 as C, and so on until 9. in vb.net this can be write: Code: Dim 1 as string = A Dim 2 as string = B Dim 3 as string = C and so on. so letterally would be: Code: take 1 make it a string and call it A take 2 make it a string and call it B and so on. back to our pass we might say Code: Dim asdf as string = 1 Dim ruff as string = 2 Dim cicciolo as string = 3 Dim stochez as string = 4 Dim Omni as string = 5 Dim ipuffifancosi as string = 6 Dim gweeeeeeehh as string = 7 Dim pool as string = 8 Dim blackhathacker as string = 9 so our password would be: Code: gweeeeeeehh+blackhathacker+Omni+cicciolo+ruff+Omni+ipuffifancosi+stochez+Omni+ip​uffifancosi+blackhathacker+pool converted back: Code: 795325645698 and written in vb.net will become: Code: Dim asdf as string = 1 Dim ruff as string = 2 Dim cicciolo as string = 3 Dim stochez as string = 4 Dim Omni as string = 5 Dim ipuffifancosi as string = 6 Dim gweeeeeeehh as string = 7 Dim pool as string = 8 Dim blackhathacker as string = 9 Dim password = (gweeeeeeehh+blackhathacker+Omni+cicciolo+ruff+Omni+ipuffifancosi+stochez+Omni+i​puffifancosi+blackhathacker+pool) now the variable Code: password is called like above and is crypted because is not directly written in the file. you can encrypt all with the Dim function and u can atleast call everything as u want. this will become complicated as u want. u can make a pass so long and complicated to decrypt to make it impossible. well hoping that helped u, regards KimeraSG1.
